"When I create a horror illustration I always try to put the viewer in the scene. In this case I tried to achieve this effect by moving the camera in low and close and distorted the perspective I chose to use heavy shadows to both tie the elements together and obscure the monster. Finally, I placed the camera and lit the scene in such away that we are forced to focus on the three main characters, the child, the monster, and THE CLOSET!”
